Whiff of Joy-Its Cold Outside!

This project was inspired by the lovely sketch over at the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog. I used my lovely Whiff of Joy Stamp I adore, pretty handmade papers I received for Christmas, paper flowers, gems and pearls as their centres. I also used purple coredinations card.

Snow much Fun!

For this project I used a stamped image coloured in promarkers, and clear glitter to represent the snow. I then used padded snowflakes, a handmade paper with glitter that looks like falling snow and a oval scallop with the greeting 'Have a Great Day x'

Tilda with her bird cage tag

I have made this tag to mount onto a card later. I used some really pretty handmade papers I got for Christmas, some gorgeous paper flowers and a gem to finish them, a snowflake to represent our weather recently and a lovely decoupaged bird and cage in the middle.  I would like to enter this into: The Stamp Man Challenge: Tag Open Stamp Something: Something with a Tag or a pocket Thank you for your comments, I really appreciate them :-)

Travel the World

I loved the theme over at Sir Stampalot which is 'Travel the World'. I had some mini postcards which were perfect for the project and I used my new handmade papers I got for Christmas and a well loved Gorjuss girl stamp-my first card since Christmas! I used the sketch from Fairymoon Crafts as my base but ran the gold strip width way rather than length way.
I stamped the gorjuss girl in memento and then coloured with promarkers and a gold metallic gel pen.

A Thank You and my last Christmas Card for 2010

Merry Christmas and a huge thank you to all my followers! I really appreciate your support over the past few months and wish you and your families a wonderful new year!  And onto my last Christmas card for 2010-Where did the year go?! For this project I used a stamped image of Tilda in Memento ink, coloured in promarkers. I also used gemstones coredinations, aqua ink pad to ink the edges, bling blooms and paper flowers, glitter, pearls, gems, a button, sentiment and my edge punch.
I really enjoyed this sketch from Crafter's Companion Challenge blog and it made such a pretty and simple card-just what you need when making your Christmas cards near the end of December! I thought I was so organised but time just flew by!

Tilda with Pink, White and Silver

For this project I used the Sketch over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp and the colour inspiration came from Wild Orchid Challenge. I loved the paper I sat Tilda on, its pink with a sparkly lacy pattern, and really shines-the photo doesn't do it justice!
I used white coredinations gemstones cardstock as my base, and inked the edges with hot pink ink. I coloured Tilda in promarkers, and placed silver gemstones on the ribbons in her hair.
I then used white sparkly ribbon, and a hot pink polda dot ribbon, and finished the card with flowers, gems and buttons which matched the project :-)

A Christmas Carol

Here is my latest project, that I totally fell in love with! I had some christmas tree effect pipe cleaner embellishments and I made it into a circle and fastened, then threaded beads on to lilac coloured wire to match the colour scheme, then wound them around the wreath. I then finished with a bow and mounted it onto the perfect stamp from Lilli of the Valley which I had coloured with promarkers and sprinkled glitter on to make the snow and the hats sparkle!
I then used ribbon and flowers which complimented the colours in the papers and a button to finish the project.

Monochrome Butterflies

I felt like a change from Christmas crafting and so decided to play with my favourite insects Butterflies :-)
I used vinyl butterflies, leaves and flowers by Papermania, silver gems, a die cut nestie shape and a glitterations greeting. I don't often use these colours so it was fun to see how I could get on with them!

Deck the Halls!

Here is a simple card for the challenge 'Deck the Halls' over at Keep it Simple Challenge blog. I used a gold card blank, gold polka dot ribbon, a chipboard sentiment, a die cut from my slice machine, and two holly die cuts and embossed papers from a Christmas card making kit. Santas Sleigh on his way with sacks and sacks of presents!

The colour scheme and sketch for this card were inspired by Fairymoon Crafts challenge this week, the image was chosen for the Die Cut Dreams Challenge 'Santas Sack' and the glitter circles by 2 Sisters Challenge theme 'Sparkly Christmas'.
I cut the circles with my nesties out of green glitter foam and white card, which I then embossed with one of my Cuttlebug folders 'Swiss dots'. I loved the way the circles created a feeling of movement to the die cut santa. I added some green polka dot ribbon to echo the backing paper and handwrote a circle sentiment to finish the project. A simple project which is what you need as Christmas is galloping along for us who haven't made enough christmas cards yet! ;-)

Handmade Christmas decorations

Here are some Christmas decorations I made with only coloured felt, buttons, embroidery thread and ribbon. I cut two hearts out of each colour of felt, stitched them together with embroidery thread which contrasted with the colour of the felt, stitched on the buttons and ribbon. A simple but effective project that doesnt take too much work :-) I would like to enter this into Incy Wincy Designs Challenge 71: Christmas Decoration

Forever Friends Stamped Project

Here is my first coloured Forever friends stamped image-I was scared in case I messed the colouring up but I think hes come out really well! As usual I used promarkers and memento ink for the stamped image. I used some red corregated card, green gingham and red tartan ribbon, a flower to echo the colours in the project and holographic flower embellishments.

Name Bunting Gift

Here is my latest gift for my lovely friend Kirstin.  I love the fashion for bunting at the moment and using my Slice I cut the shapes and letters.  I mounted the frames onto pretty My Minds Eye papers, then onto stiff cardboard, then finished it with the letters. I strung the letter panels onto silver ribbon so its like personalised bunting!  I would like to enter this into Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge: Anything but a card A Crafty Little Place: Challenge 66 Anything Goes!
