OSCC Sketch time!

Its Saturday and new challenge time over at One Stop Craft Challenge and this week is a great sketch by the lovely Val-we would love to see you come and play along!
For this project I used Sassy Studio digi, Mirri card, Papermania Jade papers, Mirri card, Ribbon, Flowers, Gems and a Jade sentiment.
I was given this great digi from Sassy Studio to play with, perfect for an adult birthday card and I coloured her with Promarkers, then matted the image onto silver mirri card. I then used this mirri card for the lacy borders punched with my Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch. I used the Sketch for my layout on the top of the easel card but switched so the image was the right way round, then mirrored it but switched round for the bottom of the card.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Bling it On: Anything Goes
Card and Scrap Challenges: Punches
Craft Your Days Away: Fancy Folds
Lollipop Crafts: Anything Goes
Totally Papercrafts: Girly Girly
Wags and Whiskers: Birthday

Thank you for looking and for your lovely comments-they make my day!

Crafty Ribbons/Fiskars LED canvas

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well. I am here to share a backlit canvas using my Fiskars tools in a rather unusual way. I took the canvas off from the frame and folded it in half to randomly punch across the front of the canvas. I kept the cuttings for later. I then stapled the canvas back onto the frame. Next I stapled muslin fabric across the front of the canvas. I then added Clermont Cotton Lace across the bottom of the canvas as a border. I then got out my flexmarkers and coloured the punched canvas pieces in three complimentary colours. I then asked tiny gems to the centre of each and glued them randomly like flowers across the muslin fabric.

Thank you for visiting and for all your lovely comments!

Alkaline Trio lyrics mixed media canvas

I am here to show you a canvas I created using printable cotton, cotton batting, plastic vintage style frame, acrylic paints, die cut foam, metal embellishments, glitters, texture pastes and nail caviar. The lyric fabric I created in a craft program then printed onto cotton, and placed in the frame after I had stuffed the frame with cotton batting.
