Sarah Kay in Aqua

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well :-) What lovely weather we are having :-)
For this project I used Sarah Kay image stamped in memento and coloured with promarkers, assorted aqua papers-some Tim Holtz, Some papermania and others miscelleneous, glitter paper, my sewing tool, button, and 'Lots of love' butterfly greeting.
I used my sewing tool on the Tim Holtz panel and hand sewed it with normal sewing thread. I then mounted it onto glittery cardstock. Next I cut the matching papers in panels and covered the card blank so it looks like a patchwork quilt like the patch on her jeans. Lastly I added the unusual button and lovely butterfly die cut greeting.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Crafty Ribbons/Fiskars LED canvas

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well. I am here to share a backlit canvas using my Fiskars tools in a rather unusual way. I took the canvas off from the frame and folded it in half to randomly punch across the front of the canvas. I kept the cuttings for later. I then stapled the canvas back onto the frame. Next I stapled muslin fabric across the front of the canvas. I then added Clermont Cotton Lace across the bottom of the canvas as a border. I then got out my flexmarkers and coloured the punched canvas pieces in three complimentary colours. I then asked tiny gems to the centre of each and glued them randomly like flowers across the muslin fabric.

Thank you for visiting and for all your lovely comments!

Alkaline Trio lyrics mixed media canvas

I am here to show you a canvas I created using printable cotton, cotton batting, plastic vintage style frame, acrylic paints, die cut foam, metal embellishments, glitters, texture pastes and nail caviar. The lyric fabric I created in a craft program then printed onto cotton, and placed in the frame after I had stuffed the frame with cotton batting.
