Stitched in Summer Sarah Kay

My first stitched card! I hope you like it!
For this project I used Tim Holtz paper, My Minds Eye paper, Sarah Kay image stamped in memento and coloured with promarkers, silver sewing thread, pearls, vintage buttons, and a gingham bow.
I love my new sewing tool and Tim Holtz paper so couldnt wait to use them! I hand stitched the middle panel with silver sewing thread and then added the stamped image in the middle. I used MME papers for the backing papers on the card and placed the stitched panel of paper and image at an angle on the card. I then added the pearls, and glued a pearl onto my gingham bow. I then added some gorgeous vintage buttons from the tin my lovely nan gave me at the weekend.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Rainbow Lady's challenge blog: A stitch in time
Pollycraft Challenge: Summer Fun
DYSU: Stitching

Crafty Ribbons/Fiskars LED canvas

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well. I am here to share a backlit canvas using my Fiskars tools in a rather unusual way. I took the canvas off from the frame and folded it in half to randomly punch across the front of the canvas. I kept the cuttings for later. I then stapled the canvas back onto the frame. Next I stapled muslin fabric across the front of the canvas. I then added Clermont Cotton Lace across the bottom of the canvas as a border. I then got out my flexmarkers and coloured the punched canvas pieces in three complimentary colours. I then asked tiny gems to the centre of each and glued them randomly like flowers across the muslin fabric.

Thank you for visiting and for all your lovely comments!

Alkaline Trio lyrics mixed media canvas

I am here to show you a canvas I created using printable cotton, cotton batting, plastic vintage style frame, acrylic paints, die cut foam, metal embellishments, glitters, texture pastes and nail caviar. The lyric fabric I created in a craft program then printed onto cotton, and placed in the frame after I had stuffed the frame with cotton batting.
