LOTV James with Star and Prizes for you!

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well :-) Today I have a christmas card for you :-)
For this project I have used a gorgeous LOTV image stamped in memento, and coloured with promarkers. I then added glamour dust to the white on his hat and on the star.
I mounted him on a dark green scalloped nestie, and used some lovely HOTP papers I got free ages ago and hadn't used yet! The sentiment was from a surprise find in a pound shop-they have some gorgeous vintage looking Christmas greeting chipboards available and I couldnt wait to use them! Lastly I added two stars :-)

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Wild Orchid Crafts: Christmas Fun
Lili of the Valley: Warm and Cosy
ABC Christmas Challenge: U is for Unused

While you are here I wanted to tell you about a prize draw I am running on my blog this weekend to celebrate my first anniversary of my blog this week-please come along and join in over saturday and sunday-I have sponsors for some fantastic prizes! :-)

Thank you for looking and for your lovely comments!

An exciting new challenge for all my crafty friends!

Good evening everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here to announce something new for my blog that I hope you will all get involved in! :-) I quite often make items which don't fit into a 'card or scrapbook' page category and often struggle to find places to show these in blogland. I thought I would remedy this by making a new two monthly 'Anything goes' challenge where we can all inspire each other with the different crafts we have been playing with! :-) So I mean jewellery, altered items, knitting, etc etc.

I will choose items to showcase on my blog throughout the challenge with a link to your blog to show the talent out there and hold a draw every couple of months of all the entries to win prizes-this first challenge will be sponsored by the wonderful Sarah Hurley-you can drool over all her lovely items at her etsy store here!
I encourage all of you to pop by each others blogs for some fabulous ideas, fun and mostly to meet other like minded crafters and hopeful…

Crafty Ribbons/Fiskars LED canvas

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well. I am here to share a backlit canvas using my Fiskars tools in a rather unusual way. I took the canvas off from the frame and folded it in half to randomly punch across the front of the canvas. I kept the cuttings for later. I then stapled the canvas back onto the frame. Next I stapled muslin fabric across the front of the canvas. I then added Clermont Cotton Lace across the bottom of the canvas as a border. I then got out my flexmarkers and coloured the punched canvas pieces in three complimentary colours. I then asked tiny gems to the centre of each and glued them randomly like flowers across the muslin fabric.

Thank you for visiting and for all your lovely comments!
