Magnolia Edwin Distressed Pirate
For this project I have used Edwin stamped in Memento and coloured in Promarkers and Metallic gel pen for the sword and buckle. My Minds Eye Papers, K&co self adhesive ribbon, Card candy, Distress ink, Cardstock and pirate stamps.
I started by cutting a nestie shape for Edwin, then distressing with Tea dye inks on the edges and then Pirate themed stamps stamped in the same inks.
I distressed the papers with scissors, and tore the cardstock to make a frayed cardstock border, which I added distressed paper border then ribbon. I placed Edwin on the card at an angle and then placed an 'Ahoy! There!' greeting in the bottom corner of the card. Lastly I added Card candy in the top left hand corner.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Celebrate the Occasion: Masculine Birthday
Creative Craft Challenges 2: Blue
Cards for Men: Boys and their Toys
Crafty Bloggers Network: Distressing
Craft Spot: One for the Boys
Stamps R Us challenges: Just Kidding around
The Crafty Pad: Something for the Boys!
Thank you for looking and for your lovely comments! :-)
