Saturated Canary Spring Rainy Day

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well! What a card to suit this weather eh? Windy and rainy here, no sign of a lovely spring day! :-(
For this project I used Saturated Canary digi image and coloured her with the Bo Bunny Country Garden papers in mind because they are my new favourite-all bright and cheery!
I coloured her in Promarkers and Flexmarkers and used a grand nestie shape to cut round her. I used Papermania Burleigh blue as my base papers, then used the Bo Bunny papers as my accent papers, with Papermania cardstock which complimented these. I also used paper flowers from my stash, American crafts polka dot ribbon, an x-cut punched butterfly and a glitterations 'Happy Birthday' greeting.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Craft Your Passion Challenges: Punches and Die cuts
Always Crafting: Yellow
Get Hippity with Ippity: Rain or Showers
Incy Wincy: Digis
Paper Creations Ink: April Showers Bring May Flowers
Stamp with Fun: Favourite Colours
Stamptacular Sundays: Anything Goes

Thank you for looking and for your lovely comments :-)

An exciting new challenge for all my crafty friends!

Good evening everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here to announce something new for my blog that I hope you will all get involved in! :-) I quite often make items which don't fit into a 'card or scrapbook' page category and often struggle to find places to show these in blogland. I thought I would remedy this by making a new two monthly 'Anything goes' challenge where we can all inspire each other with the different crafts we have been playing with! :-) So I mean jewellery, altered items, knitting, etc etc.

I will choose items to showcase on my blog throughout the challenge with a link to your blog to show the talent out there and hold a draw every couple of months of all the entries to win prizes-this first challenge will be sponsored by the wonderful Sarah Hurley-you can drool over all her lovely items at her etsy store here!
I encourage all of you to pop by each others blogs for some fabulous ideas, fun and mostly to meet other like minded crafters and hopeful…

Crafty Ribbons/Fiskars LED canvas

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well. I am here to share a backlit canvas using my Fiskars tools in a rather unusual way. I took the canvas off from the frame and folded it in half to randomly punch across the front of the canvas. I kept the cuttings for later. I then stapled the canvas back onto the frame. Next I stapled muslin fabric across the front of the canvas. I then added Clermont Cotton Lace across the bottom of the canvas as a border. I then got out my flexmarkers and coloured the punched canvas pieces in three complimentary colours. I then asked tiny gems to the centre of each and glued them randomly like flowers across the muslin fabric.

Thank you for visiting and for all your lovely comments!
