House Mouse Summer!

Good morning everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here with a cheery summery card for you!
For this project I used gingham paper which I took the colour from to colour my House Mouse image in Promarkers so they matched. I used a Kraft base, then added yellow pearlescent cardstock for my accents. I made a little fan like in the image out of the yellow card stock to make my own embellishment then used real shells collected from a beach as my finishing touch embellishments. Lastly I added a 'Have a Fabulous Day' dome greeting.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Cards for Men: Fathers Day
Fashionista Challenge: Simply Summer
House Mouse Challenge: Here comes the Sun
House of Gilli: Summer
Lexis Creations: For the Boys
Love to Create: Fathers Day

Thank you for looking and for your lovely comments :-)

Crafty Ribbons/Fiskars LED canvas

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well. I am here to share a backlit canvas using my Fiskars tools in a rather unusual way. I took the canvas off from the frame and folded it in half to randomly punch across the front of the canvas. I kept the cuttings for later. I then stapled the canvas back onto the frame. Next I stapled muslin fabric across the front of the canvas. I then added Clermont Cotton Lace across the bottom of the canvas as a border. I then got out my flexmarkers and coloured the punched canvas pieces in three complimentary colours. I then asked tiny gems to the centre of each and glued them randomly like flowers across the muslin fabric.

Thank you for visiting and for all your lovely comments!
