Recycled Pepsi Can Brooches

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with something really different from me-I altered some pepsi cans and this is what I came up with. I started by cutting the cans, taking the lid and the bottom off. I used my Cuttlebug with Tim Holtz Tattered Florals dies, Butterfly dies, Adirondack inks and Buttons, then brooch pins to finish them off. What do you think?

I would like to enter these into the following challenges:
Moving Along with the Times: Anything but a Card
Lia Stamps: Things with Wings
Recycle, Re-purpose and Reinvent: Anything Goes
Through the Craft Room Door: Any form of distressing
Unique Crafters Challenge: Buttons
D.L Art: Anything Goes
Try it on Tuesday: Anything Goes
Victorine Stamps Challenge: Texture
Come and Get it Challenges: Butterflies and Flowers

Thank you for looking and for all your lovely comments :-)

Crafty Ribbons/Fiskars LED canvas

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well. I am here to share a backlit canvas using my Fiskars tools in a rather unusual way. I took the canvas off from the frame and folded it in half to randomly punch across the front of the canvas. I kept the cuttings for later. I then stapled the canvas back onto the frame. Next I stapled muslin fabric across the front of the canvas. I then added Clermont Cotton Lace across the bottom of the canvas as a border. I then got out my flexmarkers and coloured the punched canvas pieces in three complimentary colours. I then asked tiny gems to the centre of each and glued them randomly like flowers across the muslin fabric.

Thank you for visiting and for all your lovely comments!
