Good morning everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am a DT project for Dream Valley Challenges which was something very different for me that I have been planning for a little while-its an autumn wreath using one of my flowers I have made from an upcycled drink can :-) Its a really fab theme so please come and join us!
I started with a metal florists wreath, and I chose ribbon, trims and lace which were autumnal colours. I then wound these around the wreath in a pattern which really glitters in the light but gives the real warm feeling of autumn. Next I added one of my flowers I have made from a used drinks can with a pearl button as my centre. I didnt want to overwhelm the wreath with embellishments because the ribbons and trims etc are so beautiful and I wanted that to shine :-) What do you think?
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Anything Goes Challenge: Make your own embellishements
Crafty Sentiments: Recycle It
Die Cutting Divas: Shimmer, Glimmer, Gloss
Vintage Elusions: Anything Goes add lace
D.L.Art Challenges: Anything Goes
Happy Campers Challenge: Shabby Chic
