Dream Valley For a Special Lady

Good morning everyone, hope you are well! Here I am with my DT card for our challenge over at Dream Valley this fortnight 'For a Special Lady'. We were given gorgeous digis to use from the lovely Krista Smith at Saturated Canary-aren't we lucky! I coloured her with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and continued in my practice of black hair! What do you think?
I used Memory Box *I think* papers I have had for ages and never used-but they reminded me of the style of the 1960s and so I coloured her to match these. I used Papermania cardstock as my base, then cut the design paper in strips to make panels on my base. I then made a panel with my Saturated canary beauty on which I placed where I liked her on the card. I used Memory box die cut butterflies, American crafts polka dot ribbon, Anitas glitterations greeting, gems, a 3D butterfly, Wild Orchid crafts roses and card candy as my embellishments.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Altered Faux book

Hello everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with a project that is a little different for me-an altered faux book. For this I used a bare wooden faux book with a drawer inside the spine. I used Viva Terra texture paste which I embossed by stamping into it while wet with uninked stamps. I then used three different colours of Metallic acrylic paint in Purple, Silver and Blue.
I applied the paint with sponges from the pound shop, and it gave it a sheen which shimmers and changes the colour in the light.
I painted the drawer in the same paints too to carry on the effect throughout the project.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

I love the sky paper the most and thats what gave me the idea! I used the 'Theres no place like Home' ticket from the CD as my sentiment :-)

A Huge Thank you!
I cannot express my love and adoration for those of you who have sent me a Birthday card to help brighten my day after a rough few months enough. I love how kind and compassionate fellow crafters are and the wealth of talent of the people I know and come across in blogland and associated crafting communities every day. You truly are appreciated from the bottom of my heart and I cant express how much it has helped brighten my day on a rainy miserable day!

Saturated Canary in Aqua tones

Good morning everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with a new card with a gorgeous Saturated Canary stamp-I seem to be addicted to them at the moment! ;-)
I was practicing my colouring aided by the great videos on youtube by Make it Crafty and the tutorials I used were the black hair and the pleats on clothes one. I am quite pleased with how well they both came out considering this is my first try! Thank you to Zoe for helping me :-) I used Promarkers and flexmarkers as those are the pens I own but you can still learn by substituting the Copics for the PM's :-)
I also used Papermania Capsule collection papers and gems, Craftime glitter card and butterfly embellishment, American crafts polka dot ribbon and a dome greeting.

I love Butterflies because they remind you of the beauty of life, I raise a couple of broods a year and here is a photo of one my last set I released a few weeks ago :-) I truly never get tired of doing this, they are so beautiful and delicate and make me appreciate life in all its glory :-)

I just wanted to say thank you to my lovely docrafts friends-its my birthday soon and I have been receiving envelopes with gorgeous handmade cards inside (I am good and havent opened yet I promise!). I just wanted  to say I really appreciate all your efforts to make my birthday special and it makes me really happy to know there are so many wonderful people in this community and the world in general! :-)
Here I am with a special card I made for my cousins 21st earlier this month. Her favourite colour is purple so I used Papermania Henbury Lane papers, Handmade papers and K&Co papers-the K&Co paper was to match the card to the altered frame I gave her as a gift :-)
My focus is one of my favourite LOTV images stamped in Memento and coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and glitter glue, which I cut with a nestie. I then used a Spellbinders die to cut a glittered butterfly, then added polka dot ribbon.
The flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts and lastly I added a gingham button, and a dome greeting by Papermania.

I coloured her in Promarkers and Flexmarkers and used a grand nestie shape to cut round her. I used Papermania Burleigh blue as my base papers, then used the Bo Bunny papers as my accent papers, with Papermania cardstock which complimented these. OSAAT 'Bright'

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well! Here I am with the new DT card for One Stitch at a Time, our theme is 'Bright' and I chose this fab hot air balloon by April.
I printed directly onto the Echo Park papers and cut round my digi, then stuck it with foam pads to lift it from the complimenting papers, I used two panels of echo park papers as my base and used a sewing tool to create faux stitching on these, and on my 'good luck' greeting. I then used a chipboard button which went with the colours of the paper to add to my hot air balloon.
