Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here with my DT project for Dream Valley Challenges where we would like to see you make your own embellishments. I chose to make a flower brooch with felt, seed beads and the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die. I cut multiple layers of the flower and starched them to stiffen them. I then sewed them together with seed beads as my centre. Lastly I glued on a brooch to the back.
Thank you for looking and for all your lovely comments :-)
Hey everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here with my DT project for Crafty Ribbons this week-a simple Nautical button bracelet using their new Nautical Range! :-) I used jewellery findings-ribbon clamps and a toggle clasp which I affixed to the ribbon I chose. I then chose three interesting buttons from the range (You cant see well in the photo but the red focal button is patterned too) and attached these to my ribbon. A simple piece of jewellery that ties into the Nautical trend :-)
Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here with a card using Sarah Hurley's Gatsby collection, Craft artist software and some simple embellishments. I played with the kit in Craft artist and added the sentiment to a deco label so I could print these as one. I then printed two complimenting papers and used one as a frame for the label and the other paper as my base. I embellished using pearls.
Good evening everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with a CAS Butterfly card using my lovely Best of Butterflies set from Stampin' Up which my lovely friend in the US sent with my birthday goodies :-) I used a sentiment from another butterfly set which I cant remember where from right now-if I remember or if you happen to know please let me know :-) I used two colours from a Stampin' Up set I won and used my shadow stamping technique with the sentiment-it really is my favourite mistake I have ever made! :-) I mounted the panel on complimenting cardstock then placed on a white card blank.
While you are here please pop by the challenge and blog hop in the sidebar-its sponsored by Crafty Ribbons, Sarah Hurley, Stix2, Sassy Studios and also some Stampin Up candy from Carole so well worth a go! :-)
Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here with my CAS card for our Fathers day challenge at Dream Valley Challenges. I used Sarah Hurley's crossword paper from her store here. This is really useful because you could do almost unlimited different combinations for this card :-) I love the texture too :-)
While you are here please pop by my All Crafts Challenge here-I have a fab blog hop with lots of fabulous prizes-our sponsors are Sarah Hurley, Crafty Ribbons, Stix2, Sassy Studios, and Stampin' Up Candy from Carole so well worth playing along! :-)
Well I have some really exciting news-a few weeks ago I was approached and asked to design some projects for Handy Hippo! So here is my first project for them-I really hope you like it :-)
I wanted to make a CAS card using this gorgeous Penny Black stamp. I have written a step by step for this project that will appear on Handy Hippo's website-I will link back when its up, I have linked the products I used on there too :-)
I began by cutting a panel of Ranger stamping card to fit the DL card I had, and chose some Adirondack inks to play with. I randomly stamped over the card and used blending solution to aid them to mix. When I had finished this I mounted the card on complimenting American Crafts cardstock and placed on my black card blank. Lastly I added Lilac polka dot ribbon to embellish it :-)
Good morning everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here to show you a present I made for one of my lovely friends for her birthday :-) I chose Citrine in 8mm and 6mm, 4mm Sodalite and Hematite beads and clear crystal bicones. I also used bead caps for the largest Citrine beads, and fastened using a heart toggle.
Good morning everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here with a card using the technique I accidently came across when I started making CAS cards. I was stamping directly onto a card blank but made a mistake and stamped over an image but slightly off centre-but I have found it to be really effective at making the image pop so it has become my favourite technique! I used Stampin Up stamp sets which I stamped with Memento ink in a baby blue first then slightly off centre in the teal to create my shadow and body to the image. I cut round the image with a nestie and paired with a Tim Holtz cardstock mat. I then added a panel of Capsule collection paper by Papermania and used a stampin up greeting on foam pads which I had placed on a stamped and die cut panel. I then added three complimenting gems in the opposite corner.
Morning everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here with a birthday treat for Sarah Hurley! Some of the DT are doing a little blog hop to say happy birthday-so happy birthday Sarah-hope you have a fabby day! :-)
I made a card from Sarahs Gatsby collection available in her store, with the use of craft artist software to merge the sentiment with an embellishment! :)
Next on the hop is Jess and you shouldve found me from Emma :-)
Good evening everyone, hope you are well :-) I have another card using the fab All Sewn Up range by Sarah Hurley and Sew ribbons by Crafty Ribbons. I used canvas paper to print my hexagons onto, to give a real fabric texture to my card. I cut the ribbon then set the ends with clear nail varnish :-) I placed my hexagons then cut round them on the front of my card, then added a panel of complimenting paper onto the inside of the card. I then added a heart button from Sarahs store :-)

I altered some cheap flip flops to make them look a lot more expensive than the £3 I paid for them ;-) I chose my ribbon and started by pushing the ends of the ribbons down the plug for each post at the back of the sandals. I then glued them down, and added the matching nautical buttons at the front of each sandal. I hope you like my efforts!

I wanted to create a place for people to share the gorgeous creations they make that dont fit into the usual blog challenges-it seemed such a shame for these things to be neglected in blogland! I encourage you to visit my team and the other entrants of the challenge-you may make some new friends and come up with some really great ideas from the inspiration out there :-) I will feature creations which catch my eye during the duration of the challenge and choose a winner via random.org and top three at the close of the challenge.
All I ask for you to get involved is you are a follower of the blog and link your creation using mr linky. I would love if you could add the badge to your sidebar with a link back to the blog :-) If you need any help at all drop me an email-find this in my sidebar :-)

I began by designing my panel in Craft Artist software using Sarah's kit, which I then printed on Printable Cotton. I made a simple tote bag using denim and decorated using my design panel and the Sew ribbons, then added wooden buttons :-)

I then added buttons as my embellishments and a little 'Thinking of you' dome greeting :-)
