Good morning everyone, hope you are well :-) I have been working on this project for a little while-a journal to collect the photos of butterflies I took this year to look at when I need a lift! It was really lovely to create and I really love how it came out :-)
It was made with Brown paper envelopes from poundland, Patio Party papers from Stampin' Up, Matching ribbons, Stampin' Up inks and cardstock which match with the Patio Party set, gems, die cutters and assorted stamp sets.
I created each page inside with at least three envelopes for pockets, the base and for the panel for binding. On each journalling panel I had photos of butterflies and on the reverse an explanation of which species, where they were photographed and any other information I wanted to share.
Only one pocket in my first page, to hold a panel explaining the story behind the journal
This page has two pockets, and two pull out journalling panels with photos of butterflies, decorated with Papermania capsule collection bow, and a wooden heart. The sentiment is a clear stamp by TPC studios.
This page has three pockets with journalling panels with photos of butterflies stored in each. The stamps are Stampin' Up butterflies and the sentiment from Sarah Hurley's butterflies clear stamp set.
This page has two pockets with a large removable pocket which holds the journalling panel. The sentiment is by TPC studios. I decorated the removable pocket with stamped butterflies and polka dot ribbon. The bottom pocket I decorated with pearls.
This page has two pockets, and three journalling pages-two of which were on tags decorated with polka dot ribbon.
This page has two pockets and two journalling panels decorated with stamped butterflies, and a sentiment from Sarah Hurley's butterflies clear stamp set.
This page has two pockets with two journalling panels. The sentiment is also from Sarah Hurley's butterflies stamp set.
This page has two pockets and two journalling panels. I decorated with a die cut panel with a stamped butterfly on. The little butterfly on the top journalling panel is a stampin up butterfly cut with the matching butterfly punch.
The back page of the journal. I punched the side panels of each page and threaded with a ribbon from Crafty Ribbons to bind the journal together. This page is decorated with stamped butterflies and gems in flying trails.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
