Sarah Hurley Challenges: All that Glitters is Gold

Good morning everyone, hope you are well. Here I am with my Sarah Hurley Challenge project :-) Here I am with my first UTEE project :-) I used Sarah Hurley's Wonderland kit for my cards in the rose garden image. I then placed a metal cookie cutter over the image and poured gold glitter then the UTEE in, made a hole with a pokey tool and left to dry. When it was thoroughly dry I took the cutter and pokey tool away and cut the card around the heart that remained. I then added jewellery wire with gold seed beads and crimped them onto a jump ring which I attached to a keyring.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Delicate Gemstone Watch

Good evening everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here to show you my favourite creation in a while. I made it a couple of weeks ago but hadn't taken photos because its lived on my wrist constantly! I got a beautiful watch face from ebay, then paired this with my favourite gemstones of the moment-Rose quartz, Hematite, Amethyst and Aquamarine. I used clear bicones and a heart toggle clasp-I find these the easiest to get on your own wrist :-)

I'm really excited to share with you the relaunch date for my All Crafts Challenge-its 3rd June at 10am. We have a fabulous new design team and we are having a blog hop to celebrate! Crafty Ribbons, Sarah Hurley and Stix2 have joined to sponsor and my team mates at Crafty Ribbons and Sarah Hurley are joining in with the challenge and hop to make lots of pretty non card items to inspire you to join in! Would love to see you pop by and enter :-)

I stamped the image on watercolour paper with Stazon, then coloured with Aquamarkers. I then cut round this with a labels nestie. I covered a kraft card blank with heart paper printed on canvas. I added a Best Wishes greeting and gems in the opposite corner, then placed the rose image on 3D tape on the canvas.

Sail Away Watercolour Card

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with one of my cards from my challenge to myself to use my barely used stash! I stamped the Stampin' Up image with Stazon onto watercolour paper. I then cut this with a nestie, then coloured with Aquamarkers. I used My Minds Eye Stella papers which I love but struggle to cut into for this reason-I felt the swirls really suited the sailing image :-) I then used Buttons from my stash as my embellishments.

Something Blue...CAS Butterfly card

Good evening everyone, hope you are well! I am here with another CAS card-I am really getting into this trend! I used Stampin' Up inks and matching cardstock, and assorted Butterfly stamps I own. I used a shadow technique for my greeting using both inks-this works really well with a dominant colour on top of a paler colour :-)

Crafty Ribbons-No Design Paper

Good morning everyone, how are you doing? I am here this morning with my DT piece for our 'No Design paper' challenge at Crafty Ribbons Challenge. I started with a plain tea towel which I wanted to alter to make it a little prettier! This is not the easiest project-you cant pin the ribbon before you put it in the sewing machine so I was holding the ribbon and tea towel as they ran through the machine slowly to keep them on a straight line. Im really pleased with how they came out!

Good evening everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here with my DT card for Sarah Hurley Challenges where our theme is 'Shades of Blue'. I used Sarah's new Gatsby kit for my CAS card which I created in Craft Artist software using a journalling tag and sentiment which I merged for my focal point. I then printed this and some matching paper and arranged this with 3D foam tape under the sentiment. I then added strips of pearls as my only embellishments.

A Little Bit Crafty-Kraft it!

Good morning everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here with my card for our Kraft it challenge at A Little Bit Crafty. For this project I used Sarah Hurley Rose clear stamps, Paper printed from the I love Paris digi kit by Sarah Hurley, American Crafts ribbon, Aquamarkers and Polychromos. I have used it as a chance to dig out my under used stash-my colouring pencils and Aquamarkers are often overlooked but I love them so thats a shame!
I started by stamping my rose onto watercolour paper, then used Aquamarkers to colour my rose. I die cut the paper with a nestie. I printed the paper onto canvas paper for texture, then made a focal point with this in the centre of my Kraft card. I added American crafts ribbon as a border, then stamped in each corner with the heart stamps and coloured them with the Polychromos to show up well on Kraft.

Pop by and enter our fabulous challenge-we have some great sponsors this time :-)
