Alkaline Trio Polka Dot Nails

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here with some transfers I made to celebrate going to see my favourite band, Alkaline Trio. I actually ran into Matt and Derek from trio before the gig and Matt took a photo and posted on his instagram  Matt Skiba's instagram.
I used my serif software to shrink a heartskull and printed onto plain paper first to check scale as the transfer paper is expensive! I used water slide decal paper in white (as the printer doesnt print white and you obviously need it for the centre of the heartskull) I printed then used varnish to set them over 24 hours. Then you can just use them like normal transfers.
I painted my nails red, then used a coat of top coat to give a surface to stick the transfers to. Next I did my polka dots with white nail varnish pen and then put a final top coat on. All done :-)
Have a wonderful weekend everyone :-)

Crafty Ribbons/Fiskars LED canvas

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well. I am here to share a backlit canvas using my Fiskars tools in a rather unusual way. I took the canvas off from the frame and folded it in half to randomly punch across the front of the canvas. I kept the cuttings for later. I then stapled the canvas back onto the frame. Next I stapled muslin fabric across the front of the canvas. I then added Clermont Cotton Lace across the bottom of the canvas as a border. I then got out my flexmarkers and coloured the punched canvas pieces in three complimentary colours. I then asked tiny gems to the centre of each and glued them randomly like flowers across the muslin fabric.

Thank you for visiting and for all your lovely comments!

Alkaline Trio lyrics mixed media canvas

I am here to show you a canvas I created using printable cotton, cotton batting, plastic vintage style frame, acrylic paints, die cut foam, metal embellishments, glitters, texture pastes and nail caviar. The lyric fabric I created in a craft program then printed onto cotton, and placed in the frame after I had stuffed the frame with cotton batting.
