Crafty Ribbons Easter Showcase

Good morning everyone, hope you are well :-) I am here with an altering project for our Easter Showcase at Crafty Ribbons. We have inspiration and prizes for you each day for the holidays and on Monday we have a Bunny Hop so please pop by and join in!

For this project I used Chocolate ribbons from Crafty Ribbons and some special glue for fabric as general glues seep through the ribbon and look messy! I covered the handle with 'Keep calm and eat Chocolate' ribbon and on the basket I used a general chocolate sentiments ribbon. I then added polka dot felt to the base of my basket as a lining. Its a simple few additions that really personalise the gift.
Be sure to pop by Crafty Ribbons and get involved!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Crafty Ribbons/Fiskars LED canvas

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well. I am here to share a backlit canvas using my Fiskars tools in a rather unusual way. I took the canvas off from the frame and folded it in half to randomly punch across the front of the canvas. I kept the cuttings for later. I then stapled the canvas back onto the frame. Next I stapled muslin fabric across the front of the canvas. I then added Clermont Cotton Lace across the bottom of the canvas as a border. I then got out my flexmarkers and coloured the punched canvas pieces in three complimentary colours. I then asked tiny gems to the centre of each and glued them randomly like flowers across the muslin fabric.

Thank you for visiting and for all your lovely comments!

Alkaline Trio lyrics mixed media canvas

I am here to show you a canvas I created using printable cotton, cotton batting, plastic vintage style frame, acrylic paints, die cut foam, metal embellishments, glitters, texture pastes and nail caviar. The lyric fabric I created in a craft program then printed onto cotton, and placed in the frame after I had stuffed the frame with cotton batting.
