I put mod podge on the wood then carefully folded the napkin down onto the wood and tapped any air bubbles out gently. I then left it to dry. On the top was a heart shape void. I didn't want to see inside the box from the outside so I found some pretty paper that matched the butterflies and placed it in the top of the lid, then covered this with thick cardstock on the inside for strength. I varnished the outside of the box and the heart cut out with more mod podge and left to dry. I then added a butterfly cut from felt over the heart.
Lastly I cut panels of felt in a similar colour to the butterflies on the outside and covered the inside.
