Good morning everyone, hope you are well! I am still in a state and cant talk or eat because of my sore throat so I thought I would come and cheer myself up with a new blog post!
This project is altering a cardboard suitcase I bought with a voucher I won for the Craft Barn :-) I started by painting the suitcase in white acrylic paint, then I left it to dry. Then I sponged distress ink over the suitcase until I was happy with the colour. Then I stamped directly onto the suitcase with stamps inked with the same distress inks. It doesnt show very well in the photos but in person you can see I have stamped 'memories' on the front, then decorated with swirls, butterflies and birds.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Hiding in My Craft Room: Anything Goes
Crafty Ann's: Memories are made from this
Fairy Tale Challenge Blog: Pastel Colours
Hotshot Craft Challenge: Distress inks
Inspire Me Fridays: Anything Goes
Cropstop: Feeling Blue
Thank you for looking and for…
