Sarah Hurley Halloween Trick or Treat!

Good evening everyone, hope you are well! I have been playing with the fab Witching hour kit and SVGs for my electronic cutting machine from Sarah Hurley to make a little treat for my friend Adele-we always send each other fab little Halloween kits to brighten our day! :-)
I used a bare basics Kraft bag which I decorated with Papermania glitter card, Sarah Hurley Witching Hour paper and greetings and I cut the Sarah Hurley SVGS of the bats and cat silhouettes with my electronic die cutting machine to embellish with-you can see they compliment each other perfectly!
I then made a treat bag with Halloween themed Gingerbread biscuits with the 'October 31st' Chevron label from the Witching hour kit.
Lastly I made the Eye of Newt treat bag with Cadbury's Scream Eggs. A simple collection of treats which look really effective using the kit to tie them all together-I am hoping Adele will be very pleased! :-)  You still have time to create-find Sarah's kit and die cutting file…

One Stitch at a Time: Make one for Christmas

Good evening everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with my DT card for our 'Make 1 for Christmas' theme at One Stitch at a Time. I chose this wonderful image by Teri which I just love, its so cute and can be used without any colouring at all so makes for a quick card should you need one-which I think we can all do with as we end up making so many for Christmas! ;-)
I used My Minds Eye papers that came free with a magazine last year, Kraft card and card candy-and thats it! :-) I made use of the greeting on the paper by arranging my card around it :-)

Dream Valley: Glitter and Bling

Good morning everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am a DT project for Dream Valley Challenges which was something very different for me that I have been planning for a little while-its an autumn wreath using one of my flowers I have made from an upcycled drink can :-) Its a really fab theme so please come and join us!
I started with a metal florists wreath, and I chose ribbon, trims and lace which were autumnal colours. I then wound these around the wreath in a pattern which really glitters in the light but gives the real warm feeling of autumn. Next I added one of my flowers I have made from a used drinks can with a pearl button as my centre. I didnt want to overwhelm the wreath with embellishments because the ribbons and trims etc are so beautiful and I wanted that to shine :-) What do you think?

Aqua Frigate

Good morning everyone, hope you are well :-) Sorry I have been quiet, am still struggling with what seems like an everlasting cold! Here I am with a card from my challenge to myself to use up my existing stash. For this card I used Woodware stamps for a Frigate image which I coloured in Promarkers and Flexmarkers, Papermania Aqua Capsule collection papers and gems, American Crafts polka dot ribbon, Fantastic Ribbons Polka dot ribbon, Corregated Cardstock and Silver cardstock cut with a nestie.
I placed the nesties apart from each other to give the feeling of movement.

Aqua Swallowtail Butterfly card

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well :-) I am still coldy, getting fed up with it I can tell you! Thank you so much for all your support and get well wishes, they really do help to cheer up my day and mean an awful lot to me :-)
Here I am with something a little different for me. I bought the limited edition Peacocks Feathers distress ink pad which were perfect with my old stash of papers by Papermania-the Capsule Collection Aqua set. I stamped my butterfly then cut with an oval nestie. I then coloured with the ink. I mounted this on a panel of paper which I mounted on Coredinations card. I covered my card with a base paper, then made a border made of two other papers in the middle. I then placed the focal panel in the middle and used Polka dot ribbon to embellish.

LOTV Chelsea Green Dress

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well! Sorry for the lack of posts etc but I am really struggling with this awful cold-it just wont shift! :-(
Anyway I am here with a little cutie from Lili of the Valley coloured with Promarkers to compliment the Papermania Chelsea Green papers. I have had her a little while but hadnt inked her yet so its nice to use a new image, and use my existing stash! :-) The colours are a little weird in the photo but I couldnt get it to recognise the greens very well no matter what I tried!
I added green and white cardstock to use as my mats, Green polka dot ribbon and Papermania Capsule collection gems. Lastly I added a 'have a fabulous day' dome greeting.

House Mouse Lavender Fields

Good evening everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with a card challenging myself to use up my old stash rather than newer!
I coloured my House Mouse image with Promarkers and used Papermania Heather Capsule Collection papers. I wanted to mainly focus on a complicated sketch for my papers so I wouldnt need many embellishments for a simpler look-and to make postage much cheaper! :-) I also added white coredinations cardstock, American Crafts Polka dot ribbon, Fantastic Ribbons Gingham ribbon and Glitterations greeting and star embellishments.
