Ribbons Galore Butterfly Easel Card

Good morning everyone, hope you are well :-) Here I am with a project that is a little bit different! The patterns on the butterfly are made entirely of ribbon :-)
For this project I used my Cricut to cut a large butterfly shape, then I affixed Ribbon all over the Butterfly then cut round it from behind with material scissors. Then I edged it with stickles to stop the ribbons fraying.
I attached this to a 6x6 easel card, and used Papermania Secret Garden papers as a background. I added some ribbon to the base, and matching wire mesh butterflies in each corner.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Hotshot Crafts: Die Cuts
Charisma Cards: No Flowers Allowed
Quirky Crafts: Spots,Stripes and Ribbon
Die Cutting Divas: Anything Goes
LEJ Designs: Ribbons Galore
Party Time Tuesdays: Anything Goes

Thank you for looking and for your lovely comments!

Crafty Ribbons/Fiskars LED canvas

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well. I am here to share a backlit canvas using my Fiskars tools in a rather unusual way. I took the canvas off from the frame and folded it in half to randomly punch across the front of the canvas. I kept the cuttings for later. I then stapled the canvas back onto the frame. Next I stapled muslin fabric across the front of the canvas. I then added Clermont Cotton Lace across the bottom of the canvas as a border. I then got out my flexmarkers and coloured the punched canvas pieces in three complimentary colours. I then asked tiny gems to the centre of each and glued them randomly like flowers across the muslin fabric.

Thank you for visiting and for all your lovely comments!

Alkaline Trio lyrics mixed media canvas

I am here to show you a canvas I created using printable cotton, cotton batting, plastic vintage style frame, acrylic paints, die cut foam, metal embellishments, glitters, texture pastes and nail caviar. The lyric fabric I created in a craft program then printed onto cotton, and placed in the frame after I had stuffed the frame with cotton batting.
