Vintage Peter Rabbit

Good afternoon everyone, here I am with something a little different from me. I won the Peter Rabbit CD a little while ago and I decided I should really have a play with it. I used Craftwork cards 8x8 card blank in elegant, Kraft card, brown pearlescent sparkly card, a Wooden butterfly, Lace, and a flower with an autumn leaf and brown glitter.
I printed off two papers in Sepia tones from the CD rom and made these into panels for my card, I then printed a decoupage image with a gorgeous frame-which I accented with brown glitter. I used the lace, flower, leaf and butterfly to simply embellish the card as I felt it didnt need a lot of extra fuss with the gorgeous decoupage image I used :-)

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
The Crafty Bloggers Network: Decoupage
Make it Monday: Anything Goes
Opus Gluei: Beyond the Garden Gate
Stampin Sisters in Christ: Animals
That Craft Place: Monochromatic
Craft Your Days Away: All Creatures Great and Small

Thank you for looking and for your lovely comments :-)

Crafty Ribbons/Fiskars LED canvas

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are well. I am here to share a backlit canvas using my Fiskars tools in a rather unusual way. I took the canvas off from the frame and folded it in half to randomly punch across the front of the canvas. I kept the cuttings for later. I then stapled the canvas back onto the frame. Next I stapled muslin fabric across the front of the canvas. I then added Clermont Cotton Lace across the bottom of the canvas as a border. I then got out my flexmarkers and coloured the punched canvas pieces in three complimentary colours. I then asked tiny gems to the centre of each and glued them randomly like flowers across the muslin fabric.

Thank you for visiting and for all your lovely comments!

Alkaline Trio lyrics mixed media canvas

I am here to show you a canvas I created using printable cotton, cotton batting, plastic vintage style frame, acrylic paints, die cut foam, metal embellishments, glitters, texture pastes and nail caviar. The lyric fabric I created in a craft program then printed onto cotton, and placed in the frame after I had stuffed the frame with cotton batting.
